LMS will begin MAP Testing on April 15th with the 6th, 7th and 8th Graders all taking the state mandated tests. The 6th grade will be testing on the 15th, and 16th. The 7th and 8th graders will test on the 15th, 16th, 21st and 22nd.
We will have two testing sessions each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
We do have some testing incentives set up to help motivate our students. Anyone improving any of their test scores will get to attend our MAP achievement party in the fall. Each class whose overall score beats their own last year's class will be invited to the party as well. In addition we have daily attendance drawings for gift certificates to local establishments. And once again we have our travelling trophy contest with Plattsburg Middle School. The winner gets to keep the trophy for the year, and the loser presents it to the winning school at a ball game next fall.
